Please tell us a little about your entries, and how they fit the Good Food Awards criteria.

There is a $35 processing fee for each product submitted, payable online through Paypal at the end of this form. If you need to pay by check, please contact us at or at 415-796-3713 for details, and we will hold your application until the check arrives. Please note that up to three entries are allowed per company in all categories except coffee, where two entries are permitted due to logistical constraints. All entered products must be made in the United States by American companies.

  2. Please list the URL(s) or shop number(s) since these outlets have expressed an interest in spotlighting participants in the Good Food Awards.
  3. All coffee entries are required to be sourced from a farm/growing co-op with third party organic certification or be involved in a transitional organic program. In addition, to be eligible for entry all roasters must submit a pledge certifying to each of the entry criteria that has been signed by both the roaster and the farmer/head of the growing co-op for each coffee submitted. Please download the pledge here. After signed by both parties, please send to info@goodfoodawards.org specifying the Coffee Company and Coffee Name in the subject line by September 1 for each coffee submitted. Either electronic or written signatures are acceptable.

    In order to be eligible for a Good Food Award, I pledge that all my entries fit the following criteria. I understand that if I am a finalist I will be asked to further elaborate on how my entry reflects these criteria.

    For my entered coffees I attest that:

    The farm or co-op is either certified organic or in transition to certified organic at the time of harvest
    There is price transparency throughout the supply chain
    The four fundamental principles of rights of work as declared by the United Nations International Labor Organization are observed: Laborers have the freedom to associate and have a right to collective bargaining, there is no compulsory labor, there is no hired child labor, and there is no discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
