Gavin Crynes dove into the food world in August 2011 as an intern for Seedling Projects, helping with outreach, social media and operations for the inaugural Good Food Awards. With a degree in Neuroscience from Brown University, food was not always Gavin’s intended career path. Though learning about and promoting sustainable agriculture has quickly become a passion. He enjoys working with the many passionate collaborators on the Good Food Awards, as well as communicating with the diverse array food producers that the Awards reaches. In the off-hours, Gavin loves biking around the city, exploring sunny parks, and relishing in the smell of fresh toast.
