Good Food Month

Good Food Month kicks off with the announcement of the Good Food Award winners. From January 16 – February 20, hundreds of events will take place in restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, art galleries, bookstores, parks, and community centers throughout San Francisco.

Each week will pair two of the food categories (cheese and preserves, pickles and charcuterie, coffee and chocolate, and — in its own week — beer). Following the highly successful model of SF Beer Week 2010 — where over 200 independent events celebrating artisan beer took place around the city — committees comprised of leaders and innovators for each category will mobilize the Bay Area community to organize events, from farm visits to hands on pickling demonstrations to special dinners. All events will be centrally listed on this website.

We envision additional cities organizing Good Food Month events as part of the celebration in the years to come, building an ever-bigger community around good food.
